A NEW SHOW COMES TO RYE!
A MOTOR SHOW AT THE RYE SHOW
A Concours d'elegance and Motor Show is the star attraction at this year's Rye Show on Saturday August 21st at Salts Farm, East Guldeford.
International Concours judge Richard Dallimore has organised a spectacular show-within-a-show featuring cars by such famous marques as Lagonda, Rolls Royce, Bentley and Aston Martin.
There'll be a DB7 Volante Aston Martin, a 1939 drophead Bentley van den plas, a 1934 Sunbeam Dawn Sports Saloon, a 1949 Riley two-and-a half litre, and lots, lots more - including a 1932 Studebaker. It's all happening at the Rye Show - the cars will be on-site throughout the day, and they will be judged by some top-class judges, led by Chief Judge Bob Gathercole. in addition two Mitsubishi Lancer rally cars will be on show. You won't get to see all these fantastic cars in one place except at the Rye Show, and entry to the Show is just £5 per car. We are indebted to Richard Dallimore, who has judged at such prestigious motor events as the Louis Vuitton at Hurlingham Club London and Baccarat, Paris, and at Pebble Beach California and Schloss Schwetzingen, and Dusseldorf Galop, Germany.
