Mobile MRI Scanner

Mobile MRI Scanner

Medical Imaging Partnership Ltd has been created by clinicians who understand how to deliver radiology services.

Medical Imaging Partnership offers radiology services built around partnerships with key stakeholders, whether they are NHS organisations, private / independent sector providers and individual radiologists or referring clinicians. We bring a wealth of clinical, managerial and commercial experience in the provision of imaging . We believe that an integrated, clinically led approach utilising the most appropriate technology enables us to provide the highest quality clinical service in the evolving healthcare market.

We are working with Rye and Winchlesea Hospital to deliver community based diagnostic radiology services, initially MRI via our mobile 1.5T MRI system. Our goal is to provide diagnostic imaging in the best possible location, whether that is in a primary care facility, community or hospital setting. Our service delivery will integrate seamlessly into the local health economy. We believe that images and reports should be quickly and easily accessible by referring clinicians, whether they are a GP in their practice or a consultant in a hospital setting. Medical Imaging Partnership has the technology solutions and the experience to make this happen.

The scanner is now at the hospital for two days every other week. NHS patients living in Kent may be directly referred by their GP/Consultant, those living in Sussex have to be referred by their GP for physiotherapy with VirginCare, who can then make the appointment. Private patients can make appointments by ringing Mary McDowell of Medical Imaging on 01293 534043.
