Senior Administrator and Company Secretary
required for Rye Winchelsea & District Memorial Hospital – Full Time

 

An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a professional, self-motivated and energetic individual at this local charity which provides a range of community health services. Currently the Hub on Rye Hill is nearing completion and this will form part of a health exemplar on the site.

The Senior Administrator will be responsible for a wide range of administrative duties and activities to support the effective management of the Charity, its operations and management of its tenants and leases. Key elements of the role include carrying out Company Secretary duties; maintaining the day to day finances for the Charity; acting as secretary to the Board of Trustees; organising fundraising communications, activities and events; co-ordinating the volunteer support for the Hospital and The Hub and working with the Maintenance and Hub Co-ordination teams to support the effective delivery of operational activities across the estate. Excellent communication skills are necessary and local knowledge of our community would be advantageous.
Starting salary £30000 and company pension scheme.

Hub Co-ordinators required for The Hub on Rye Hill – Part-time

 

Rye, Winchelsea and District Memorial Hospital Limited is a charity based in Rye which provides a range of community health services on the Memorial Care Centre site. It is currently building a community wellbeing centre (The Hub on Rye Hill).

The Charity is looking for enthusiastic and self-motivated individuals for this new venture. There are three positions one of which will be Lead Coordinator (at an enhanced salary) Key elements of the role include meeting and greeting visitors; working with clubs and societies to facilitate events; ensuring the Hub is a safe, secure, clean and well-maintained environment; managing bookings and promoting events; co-ordinating the volunteer support for the café and working with the maintenance team to ensure the Hub is kept in the best possible condition.
Successful candidates will have excellent communication skills and experience in working with the general public. General administrative skills to support event booking and associated paperwork/invoicing and good knowledge of the range of Microsoft Office products is essential. This post involves flexible working and the ability to work in a team. Local knowledge of our community would be advantageous.

Salary £11000 pa and company pension scheme.
